Local police are crediting a tip from the public for a recent drug arrest.
At around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15th, Renfrew OPP were alerted to a suspicious vehicle blaring music while parked outside a local business for several hours.
Police would speak to the 34-year-old driver from Eganville while launching an investigation that eventually led to their arrest for possession of a schedule one substance, possession of loose cigarettes, and obstructing a peace officer.
A court date has been set for mid-April.
