
The Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (RCCDSB) is proud to announce that David Howard has been awarded the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association (OCSTA) Trustee Award of Merit. This prestigious honor recognizes Mr. Howard’s exceptional dedication and significant contributions to Catholic education.
Mr. Howard’s commitment to fostering a faith-filled learning environment, advocating for students, and demonstrating exemplary leadership has made a lasting impact on the Renfrew County Catholic community. Bob Schreader, Chair of the RCCDSB, praised Mr. Howard’s dedication, stating, “David’s passion for ensuring all students thrive, both academically and spiritually, has made a profound difference. This award is a well-deserved recognition of his years of service.”
The OCSTA Trustee Award of Merit is given annually to trustees who show exceptional service and leadership in Catholic education. Mr. Howard’s work reflects the core values of Catholic education, positively affecting students, families, and staff across the community.
In expressing his gratitude, Vice-Chair David Howard said, “I am overwhelmingly grateful to the OCSTA for this award. Serving our Catholic education community has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. To have that service acknowledged in this way is deeply moving, and I am filled with immense appreciation.”
David Howard will be formally recognized at the OCSTA Annual General Meeting and Conference.
