TODAY: Horton Outdoor Rink is set to open on Friday, Jan. 17. The township will continue to offer free open ice times daily, donations are greatly appreciated. Private ice time can be booked, email recreation@hortontownship.ca or call 613-433-3303.
TODAY: The Arnprior Optimist Club Winter Carnival Pub Night on Friday, Jan. 17, featuring The Riley New Band and the ever-popular food and baked goods auction at the Nick Smith Centre. Band to start at 8 p.m., doors open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is a Carnival Button which can be purchased at the Nick Smith Centre. Carnival activities continue Saturday.
TOMORROW: Free public skating, hot chocolate, coffee and Timbits provided by the Horton Firefighters Association on the outdoor rink at the Horton Community Centre on Saturday, Jan. 18, 1-3 p.m.
TOMORROW: Après ski live music at the Black Donald’s Pub in the Calabogie Peaks Resort, 3-7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18. Grab a glass or can of your favourite beverage and snack on delicious menu items. Open to the public.
