Staff at St. Joseph’s High School in Renfrew say thing are fine after a incident that happened on Wednesday.
In a note sent to parents, the school says it needed to perform a shelter in place on the second floor during second period that morning to “preserve the dignity of a situation.”
Students near the situation were asked to stay in their classrooms, while other students were re-directed away.
Emergency services were called, but the school says there was never a risk to the safety of students and staff.
