Police have released more information in the case of missing man, Daniel, 44, who was last seen in Eganville.
Ontario Provincial Police say the missing person investigation began when Daniel was reported missing from Orillia, Ont.
“Due to his disappearance his vehicle was registered on the police database. Patrol officers located his unoccupied vehicle in an Eganville parking lot near the Bonnechere River on Oct. 20, after an alert was received from the Automated Licence Plate Recognition integrated with the police cruiser’s in-car camera,” reads an OPP press release.
Daniel was last seen in Eganville on Oct. 15. He is 5′ 7″ tall, weighs 200 lbs and has grey hair.
The investigation by the UOV OPP Detachment is ongoing and is being conducted with assistance from OPP’s Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit, OPP Aviation Services Unit, Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU), and the Renfrew County Crime Unit.
Anyone who may have had contact with Daniel or has any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
