It was Tuesday of last week (October 1st) that the Kitchissippi-Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Council of Canadians Climate Matters group hosted its community forum at the Eganville Legion.
Spokesperson Ann Pohl was pleased with both the turnout, and the discussion.
First order of business was for the gathering to determine what they wanted to talk about.
Ann says a scribe took copious notes on the proceedings.
The Climate Matters spokesperson is sharing her own impressions, and the formal report on the event is still to be compiled.
Once the task is complete, it will be circulated to participants, stakeholders and the public at large.
And not a moment too soon.
