The Ottawa Valley Boss Babes are keeping a close watch on this week’s weather forecast.
Organizer Holly Molenaar and company are crossing their fingers that Mother Nature will be kind to them for their Queens of the Greens event this Thursday at Dragonfly Golf Links.
The group expects that the women-only event will be a great opportunity to shop with local vendors while enjoying a full day on the fairways.
Even as the remnants of Hurricane Beryl make their way towards the valley, Molenaar says there will be plenty for participants to do on and off the course, as part of the proceeds will go towards breast cancer research.
The event is still on, and Molenaar adds that people taking part will be able to stay dry under the vendor’s tent or by hanging out inside Lanyon’s Lounge.
Molenaar encourages participants to watch the OV Boss Babes and Dragonfly Golf Links social media pages for updates ahead of the events.
