Renfrew area parents adjusting to life with a new baby or one on the way now have a little extra help.
The Community Resource Centre in Killaloe is extending the reach of their Bumps to Babes prenatal program to the EarlyON Centre inside the Armouries building.
Manager of Early Learning, Kim Groskleg, says the program is targeted to help parents and parents-to-be build a support network as they share and learn from each other.
She explains that the program is targeted specifically at new parents, but it also welcomes parents of multiple children who could also benefit.
Prenatal Facilitator San Emond takes us through what parents can expect when they drop in for Bumps to Babes.
She says the parents from across Renfrew County, whose work has helped over the past several years, have built relationships that continue to last.
Bumps to Babes takes place every Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at EarlyON Centre, 115 Memorial Boulevard.
You can get more information and register for the program through the Community Resource Centre at 613-757-3108. They’re also available online through Instagram and Facebook.
