The myFM Home Cottage and Leisure Show takes over inside and outside the myFM Centre in Renfrew on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4. Over 70 vendors featuring the best and latest of everything from home improvement and landscaping to the arts, crafting, sports, outdoor getaways and travel, food, and more. The event is free to attend both days!

The Hike for Hospice is this Sunday, May 5. Teams made up of family and friends walk in memory of a loved one. Get a team together, gather pledges, come out and join the hundreds of others participating. Hike starts at 2 p.m. outside the Hospice Renfrew office on Albert Street.
Spring Fashion Show Fundraiser for RVH Auxiliary at the Renfrew Legion, Branch 148, on Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m., featuring Audrey’s of Arnprior with luncheon to follow. Tickets, $20, at Aikenhead’s and RVH Gift Shop.

Renfrew Minor Hockey reminds you that applications are open for the Bill Ringrose Bursary until May 20, with all graduates that have played hockey in the RMHA eligible to apply by email to vice.president@renfrewminorhockey.ca. Also, the association’s Annual General Meeting will take place at the myFM Centre May 14th at 7:30 p.m.
The Stealing HOME – NSA Canada Slopitch Tournament is this Saturday, May 4, at the Ma-te-Way Park ball diamonds. Mens and ladies – REC, INT and COMP divisions, with four games guaranteed! The entry fee is $500. Check the Facebook events page for more.
