It’s an opportunity to recognize some of Admaston-Bromley’s super citizens.
The township is accepting nominations for its annual awards, which include citizen of the year, senior of the year and youth citizen of the year.
“We are fortunate to have many citizens who go above and beyond and have a passionate desire towards the betterment of the Township of Admaston/Bromley,” reads promotion from the township.
Officials say citizen and senior of the year nominees should be those who exemplify outstanding service to the community. Youth citizen of the year candidates should be 21 years of age and under and have made worthwhile and selfless contributions to community service.
Nominators are asked to send a letter detailing why they are nominating the individual.
Deadline for nominations is May 31. Awards are announced and presented at the township’s Canada Day celebrations on July 1.
Letters can be emailed to info@admastonbromely.com or mailed to 477 Stone Rd., K7V 3Z5.
