It’s sure to be a great afternoon of local entertainment and it’s raising funds for local organizations that need the support.
Anna McIntyre, president of the Ottawa Valley Miniature Horse Association, explains that her group, along with the Eastern Ontario Draft Horse Pulling Association, is hosting the Renfrew Classic Country Giddy Up concert this Sunday at the Renfrew Armouries.
A stellar lineup of country performers, led by Ottawa Valley favourite the Bowes Brothers, is planned. Cheryl Adrain, Wade Foster and Colby Drummond are also part of the lineup.
Both host associations show at local community fairs and that is where event proceeds will go, explained McIntyre.
Organizers are grateful to all those who are making the event possible, from performers, to volunteers, to ticket buyers and more.
Renfrew Classic Country Giddy Up runs this Sunday, April 28 from 1-4 p.m. at the Renfrew Armouries. Tickets, $25, are available from a variety of local businesses, from association members and at the door.
