If you have trouble shopping for Mother’s Day, an upcoming event at the Armouries Building inside the Renfrew Fairgrounds could be the answer.
Hailey Walsh, the host of the upcoming Ottawa Valley Market, invites you to bring friends and family to check out 50 small businesses showing off their unique, handmade wares on Saturday, April 29th.
Walsh says this is the second market event she’s put together after a successful debut during the holiday season last year. She adds that, while it will be the perfect time to shop for (or with) mom, the upcoming event is also a great opportunity to find your new favourite local crafters.
You’ll also have the chance to help a good cause during the day, as a raffle will be held throughout the event in support of Children’s Miracle Network and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The Ottawa Valley Market’s Mother’s Day event will run both in-and-outside the Armouries Building on Veterans Memorial Boulevard from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday, April 29th.
Admission will be free, and Walsh notes that food vendors will be on site for you to enjoy lunch.
