Beachburg’s Nathan Blok is moving on, and hopefully moving up in 2023.
Last season, Blok raced in Production Class, Super Production Challenge (SPC) and this year he’ll be running premier class SPC with Futec Motorsports out of Beachburg, and Blok will wear three helmets: Driver, driver coach and team owner.
Blok’s new team will begin its debut season with a single 2009 Nissan 370z, and compete in events such as the Grand Prix De Trois Rivieres, Chevrolet Grand Prix in Bowmanville, and Sundown Grand Prix in Mirabel, Quebec.
In addition, Futec will be competing in various amateur Lucky Dog, Champ Car, and regional Ontario motorsports events with Blok taking a step out of the drivers seat and into the role of a team manager.
Blok’s first race of 2023 will take place at the Victoria Day Speedfest on the May 19th to 21st weekend.
