The new Director for Chutes Coulonge is hoping to build on all the good work being done in the park.
Tristan Fleming tells myFM that, at age 24, he already has a few years experience both as an aerial park guide for the Chutes as well as within the MRC Pontiac’s tourism sector.
Fleming recently took over day-to-day operations from the outgoing André Piché, noting that his time working in the Pontiac region has always gravitated him towards Chutes Coulonge.
Now that he’s taken over, Fleming says he has a simple goal for the park: drawing in more traffic.
A new director was not the only turnover for Chutes Coulonge over their winter offseason, as they’re also looking fill both seasonal part-time and year-round positions within the park located just on the other side of the Ottawa River from Beachburg.
Fleming says to check out their facebook page for a full job description and where to send your resume.
In the meantime, he also says to keep an eye out for a number of outdoor events happening with the park for the 2023 season, including an Easter celebration coming up Saturday, April 8th.
