The service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Renfrew on Friday, March 3rd will have an international spin.
Jane Dick, the local coordinator for the World Day of Prayer tells myFM the many of the town’s churches are working together to give residents a look at what life and faith is like for women and children in Taiwan.
It’ll be a special service produced by women taking part from Taiwan and will support people in the country who need aid.
She says it’s a joint presentation alongside St. Francis Xavier Church, Renfrew Presbyterian Church, Trinity-St. Andrews United Church, and Our Lady of Fatima, who will all be represented on Friday.
Dick adds that the World Day of Prayer is a chance to learn about points of view from outside our local bubble.
The World Day of Prayer service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church is Renfrew is set for Friday at 2PM, with masking strongly encouraged but not necessary.
