A drug raid along Route 148 in Quebec could result in a number of charges for a 48-year-old found at the scene.
Pontiac police were sent to a home on Isle-Aux-Allumettes on November 23rd, and seized 300 Oxycontin tablets and 600 contraband cigarettes, as well as an undisclosed number of methamphetamine tablets and a pair of prohibited weapons.
The search was performed as part of the ACCES-Cannabis program, which aims to reduce the availability of illicit cannabis on the Quebec market.
The 48-year-old was arrested and later released with a later court date set in Campbells Bay.
According to police, the accused could be facing drug trafficking, firearms, and obstruction charges, as well as charges under the Tabacco Tax Act.
