The results are in for the Town of Renfrew.
Tom Sidney will make the move from councilor to Mayor after he finished a close election race just 12 votes ahead of the first runner-up, fellow council member Sandi Heins.
A brand-new council will join Sindey at Town Hall for the new term, as no incumbents ran to keep their seats. Kyle Cybulski, Andrew Dick, Jason Legris, Clint McWhirter, and John McDonald will join Sidney in leading Renfrew over the next four year.
The council vote was also quite competitive, as the first runner-up Brady Enright finished only 35 votes from a seat on council.
Reeve Peter Emon as acclaimed at the start of the election campaign, as nobody ran against him for the position.
