An early morning fire in Horton Township Monday has destroyed a single-storey home.
That’s Township Fire Chief Allan Cole, who indicates the assistance of Horton’s mutual aid partners was needed.
Chief Cole says OPP and a representative of the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office remained on site to continue to gather evidence.
Cole says OPP media relations may speak to the identity of the deceased.
