The Town of Renfrew has provided an update on ongoing work along Stewart Street.

Sanitary and storm work between Elgin and Cameron Avenue will continue for the coming weeks.

Similar work on Hincks Ave will continue the coming week.

Road excavation and reinstatement continues on Stewart Street from Mason Ave to Town limits.

Base lift asphalt paving is set to take place from Mason Ave to Town Limits on June 9, 2021.

Ongoing water work will continue along Stewart Street, Tasse Ave, McAndrew Ave and Mason Ave.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS:

• Hinks Avenue at Stewart Street intersection will remain closed for the weekend and the coming week.
• Cameron Avenue at Stewart Street intersection will be closed from June 9th to June 15th
• Elgin Avenue at Stewart Street intersection will have lane reductions with flagging operations
• Stewart Street from Ready Avenue to Cameron Avenue will have lane reductions with flagging
  operations.
• Stewart Street from Mason Avenue to Town limits will have moving lane reductions with flagging
  operations around work zones.
• Temporary lanes have been marked out and painted on Stewart Street from Ready Avenue to Cameron Avenue.
