The Town of Renfrew is letting residents know that starting next week (Tuesday, May 25th, 2021), the intersection at Stewart Street (Highway 60) and Bruce Street (County Road 20) will become a 3-way-stop.
The road restrictions are part of the Highway 60 – Stewart Street reconstruction project.
Road reconstruction will be from the town limits running 1.1 kilometers east towards the bridge crossing at the Bonnechere River.
The project includes paving, grading, concrete curb and sidewalks, sanitary sewer installation, storm sewer, water works, landscaping, streetscaping, traffic signal upgrades, site restoration and line painting.
Work is expected to wrap up late in September, subject to delays due to weather or other unexpected issues.
Concerns related to the project or special accessibility accommodations can be sent to the project manager by email: cjamieson@renfrew.ca or phone: 613-432-8166
The Town of Renfrew is thanking residents in advance for their patience and cooperation with the construction project.
