A real estate agent in the Ottawa Valley had to wait for myFM Radio Bingo to wrap up before closing a deal on a home.
Jennifer Turcotte with Remax says she had been waiting for an offer on her clients house and last night (April 21st, 2021) one came in.
Turcotte says about 3-minutes to 7:00pm she called to go over the details and when she asked to send the papers over to sign, the homeowner said, “not until after 8:00pm, it’s Radio Bingo!” and hung up.
Turcotte says they have an accepted offer, but it happened after Radio Bingo.
myFM Radio Bingo takes place every Wednesday at 7:00pm on 104.9 myFM in Pembroke and 96.1 myFM in Renfrew. Cards are available at a number of locations across the Ottawa Valley with money raised going to support the Robbie Dean Family Counselling Centre.
