A 22-year-old from Nova Scotia has been charged after an investigation from a crash back in October. Back on the 4th, OPP responded to a collision on Whitewater Road in Laurentian Valley. A pickup truck left the road on a curve, striking a fence and utility pole. The vehicle rolled and the driver was ejected. He was later taken to Ottawa with life-threatening injuries, while a 20-year-old passenger from Petawawa was uninjuried. Devon Byrne has been charged with drunk driving. He will be back in Pembroke court on March 30th.
