A student at Eganville and District Public School has tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result the Renfrew County and District Health Unit has directed a class of students and number of staff to go home immediately and self-isolate.

The school remains open for in-person learning.

Only those contacted by the health unit are considered to have been in close contact with the student who tested positive for COVID-19.

Students directed to self-isolate will receive support to maintain work during the self-isolation period and will have ongoing communication directly from Eganville District Public School.
