There are recruitment opportunities coming up with the Arnprior Fire Service.
Chief Jeff Crawford says the volunteer role is open to serious individuals dedicated to task.
He says there will be two upcoming information sessions in mid October outlining what is involved.
The firehall sessions should last forty-five minutes to an hour, and because of the level of commitment required, prospective candidates should bring their significant other so that each partner understands the nature of the role.
The Fire Hall is located at 67 Meehan Street, Arnprior.
Deadline to register is Friday October 9th.
