COVID-19 has not significantly impacted plans for the Lépine Apartments luxury residential community in Renfrew.
Francis Lépine and his staff have been building luxury apartment complexes in Ottawa for some time, and the developer impressed the local community when he proposed common underground parking for up to 452 vehicles, as part of the plan back in November of last year.
Mike Asselin, Renfrew’s Director of Development and Works says the initiative is just about to come out of the site plan approvals process, but early lot servicing may precede the formalization of the site plan agreement.
After the site plan has been vetted, the Planning Advisory Committee reviews the file before handing it along to Town Council.
Lépine plans to develop the site at the property on Barnet Blvd. between Eighth Street and the Scapa Tape building, and hopes occupancy of the Renfrew complex could come as soon as late 2021.
