The Township of McNab-Braeside has advised of the reopening of the Burnstown Beach, effective today (June 19th).
McNab-Braeside Mayor Tom Peckett sees a problem, given the current heatwave and the limited space at Burnstown Beach.
The Mayor says there will be gathering restrictions that some are already ignoring.
Peckett says self-regulation is your key to a safe day at the beach.
Public washrooms will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and will be cleaned twice daily according to the Renfrew County and District Health Unit.
