The quasi-regal portrait of Archibald, the thirteen and last Liard of McNab, hangs in the Council Chamber of the Township that bears his name.
McNab-Braeside Recreation Director Geoff Patterson says early next month, people from around the globe are coming to pay homage.
The Clan McNab Reunion will be held at Waba Cottage, where the Liard’s residence was reconstructed brick-by-brick and today serves as a museum.
Patterson says humble citizens who may have no relation whatsover are invited to attend the gathering as well.
The Clan McNab gathering is September 6th at the Waba Cottage Museum.
