Millions of Canadians are casting their votes today to determine who will be our next Prime Minister.
Polls in the local riding of Algonquin-Renfrew-Pembroke will close at 9:30 p.m.
Seven candidates are on the local ballot, including:
Randy Briand, United Party of Canada
Cheryl Gallant, Conservative (incumbent MP)
Gallant’s camp is planning to gather at an after party at Fresco’s in Pembroke.
Liberal Cyndi Mills is expected to join volunteers and her campaign team at the Clarion Hotel in Pembroke at a private event.
And Eileen Jones-Whyte of the NDP is hosting a watch party and volunteer thank you event at Festival Hall.
