
THIS WEEKEND: The second annual Renfrew Poutine Feast returns to the Visitor Information Centre for four days filled with mouthwatering poutine, music, and fun games. Don’t miss out on this delicious celebration featuring award winning food trucks from across the province from 11:00 to 8:00 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and again from 11:00 to 6:00 on Sunday.
TODAY: CFUW Annual Giant Book Sale in the MacNeil Gymnasium at Renfrew Collegiate Institute on Friday, April 25 (4-9 p.m.) and Saturday, April 26 (9 a.m. to noon). Plants and baked goods also for sale. Proceeds go to scholarships at area high schools.
TODAY: On April 26th, 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Renfrew Public Library is teaming up with In A Bind Renfrew: Valley Refillery & Bookstore to host a fantastic event featuring 10 local authors and illustrators! Meet the creators, hear their stories, and shop their books!
TOMORROW: Horton’s FREE Community Concert and Dance is April 27 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the community centre at 1005 Castleford Rd. Live band and vocals by the Seniors Active Living Centre Brass Ensemble. Suitable for everyone of ALL ages, including families and young children! Great for a quick date with your sweetheart! Or bring along your deck of cards and friends while you listen to music. There is a dessert auction happening, and a children’s craft activity zone. There will be snacks and the bar is open for purchases.
TOMORROW: Renfrew Victoria Hospital Auxiliary Fashion Show starts at 2 p.m. at Renfrew Legion on Sunday, April 27, tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Aikenhead’s Pharmacy, RVH Gift Shop or RVH auxiliary members. Audrey’s Fashions from Arnprior is providing the fashions. A light lunch will be served and there will be door prizes and a 50/50 draw.

The Renfrew Wolves will get their first look at this year’s batch of new prospects at a development camp at the myFM Centre from May 2nd to 4th. Fans are invited to join them at the arena to welcome the future of the Wolves franchise to Renfrew and watch them go through their first drills as part of the team.
Renfrew Minor Baseball is taking registration ahead of the start of their season in May! Late fees are in effect, but the association encourages any late sign-ups do so as soon as possible in order to be placed into teams. Head to their website for more information.
