TODAY: The second annual Renfrew Poutine Feast returns to the Visitor Information Centre for four days filled with mouthwatering poutine, music, and fun games. Don’t miss out on this delicious celebration featuring award winning food trucks from across the province from 11:00 to 8:00 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and again from 11:00 to 6:00 on Sunday.
TODAY: Renfrew Public Library’s original book club, Love of Literature, returns this Thursday at 6:00 pm! Share your thoughts on each month’s shared novel, and delve into deep discussion about it. TOMORROW: CFUW Annual Giant Book Sale in the MacNeil Gymnasium at Renfrew Collegiate Institute on Friday, April 25 (4-9 p.m.) and Saturday, April 26 (9 a.m. to noon). Plants and baked goods also for sale. Proceeds go to scholarships at area high schools.
TOMORROW: The Neat Coffee Shop, 1715 Calabogie Road in Burnstown, welcomes The Sadies to the community this Friday, April 25th, at 8:00 p.m. Guests can purchase tickets to watch one of this continent’s greatest extant rock ’n’ roll bands perform a special acoustic set for just $60, and limited reservations for dinner are also available. The Renfrew Wolves will get their first look at this year’s batch of new prospects at a development camp at the myFM Centre from May 2nd to 4th. Fans are invited to join them at the arena to welcome the future of the Wolves franchise to Renfrew and watch them go through their first drills as part of the team.
Renfrew Minor Baseball is taking registration ahead of the start of their season in May! Late fees are in effect, but the association encourages any late sign-ups do so as soon as possible in order to be placed into teams. Head to their website for more information.
