It’s a not-to-be missed spring event that’s been running in Renfrew for more than 50 years.
The Renfrew Chapter of the Canadian Federation of University Women will host their popular annual two-day book sale April 25 and 26 in the MacNeil Gymnasium at Renfrew Collegiate Institute (RCI).
Club member Marion Eidsness is excited to see the community at this year’s event.
Audio PlayerAnd while there will be thousands of books on sale for all ages and interests, that’s not all that shoppers will find.
Audio PlayerClub members have been busily preparing for this year’s sale almost since the close of last year’s. A basement room at RCI is filled with titles donated from the community.
And, explains Eidsness, proceeds from the sale are put to very good use.
Audio PlayerThe sale runs Friday, April 25 (4-9 p.m.) and Saturday, April 26 (9 a.m. to noon).
