The identity of one of the victims of a fire on Morrison Road last Thursday has been released.
Artie Fraser was one of two pronounced dead on the scene. The name of the other victim has not been released nor has the cause of the deadly blaze.
Renfrew County paramedics assessed 10 individuals at the scene, providing treatment to one person for smoke and heat-related injuries. A firefighter was also transported to hospital after sustaining injuries while on duty. Both patients were reported to be in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
