Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from the Renfrew Detachment are cautioning the public about the potential hefty price tag if you’re caught speeding.
Police say they stopped a driver travelling 108 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone on White Lake Road yesterday (April 9).
“The driver was charged with stunt driving and their licence was suspended for 30 days. Their vehicle was impounded for 14 days, and they will face a minimum $2000 fine with six demerit points,” reads a social media post. “Speeding will cost you.”
