A trailblazing Renfrew athlete will soon be honoured for his remarkable journey to the top of his sport.
Town staff will dedicate a special exhibit to Paralympic sledge hockey medallist Lou Mulvihill at the myFM Centre on April 10th, featuring several artifacts from his 15 years as a player and innovator curated by the Renfrew & District Historical & Museum Society.
The display will be a permanent fixture inside the myFM Centre’s BEI Arena, which has become the proud home for local sledge hockey.
The community is invited to join members of town council and staff in recognizing Mulvihill’s significant contributions to the sport and our community.
