An inappropriate time and place to take a nap has forced local police to confirm that passing lanes are not parking spots.
The Renfrew OPP were patrolling along Highway 17 in McNab-Braeside at around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18th, when they found what appeared to be an abandoned vehicle in the passing lanes between Goshen Road and McCowan Drive.
Police approached the car only to find the driver sleeping inside.
The 33-year-old from Ottawa now faces two drunk driving charges and has had their license suspended for 90 days.
