Police in the Pontiac Region are thanking the community’s help for closing a case that’s been on their plate since last year.
Back on December 12th, a debit card presumed lost at a Shawville business was allegedly later used by two suspects for their own purchases.
Officers with the Pontiac station would put a call out to the community for more information on March 6, before arresting a 54-year-old from Bristol in connection on March 14th.
The suspect has since been released as the case gets analyzed by Quebec police to see if there are grounds for charges.
