
The County of Renfrew will implement reduced load limits on its roads starting Monday, March 17th. The restrictions will remain in effect until Friday, May 30th, unless otherwise notified. During this time, vehicle loads will be limited to 5 tonnes per axle on roads where signs are posted.
The reduced load limits are being enforced in accordance with Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act and applicable Municipal By-Laws to protect road infrastructure during the spring thaw.

Haulers are encouraged to contact the appropriate road authority to verify spring load restrictions on local municipal roads before traveling.
