
Anna Maria Dolan is once again the Green Party nominee for Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke, having put forward her name in that capacity in the June 2nd 2022 Ontario Election.
We haven’t been able to connect with her this time around, despite repeated attempts, so we’re reaching into the Oldies/myFM Archives to give her the chance to tell you about herself. What you will be hearing is audio from an interview recorded May 22nd of 2022.
At the time, Dolan and her spouse had made R-N-P their new home.
Dolan believes the area’s postcard beauty deserves a candidate that will fight to keep it that way.
The Green Party nominee says the European experience has been the proof of the pudding as far as the harmony between policy and prosperity.
Dolan say Green members have the freedom to make up their own minds.
Anna Maria Dolan says its important that the local member not be a rubber stamp for made-in-Toronto policies.
If elected, Dolan would advocate for better rural health and long-term care needs

Also on the ballot are Marshall Buchanan, NDP; Billy Denault, PC; Mark Dickson, New Blue Party; Kevin Holm, Ontario Party and Oliver Jacob, Liberal.
The Ontario Election is February 27th.
