Odi’s Kingburger’s plan to be a blue beacon shining through the winter storm has turned out rather well.
Renfrew’s famous drive-thru was clad in blue to recognize Angelman’s Syndrome Awareness Day on Saturday, February 15th, as they brought in over $2,300 in support of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation of Canada, all despite some notable snowfall hampering traffic throughout the day.
The annual fundraiser is an important moment for restaurant manager Robin Audette-Hisko and her entire family, as her daughter, Ever, was diagnosed with the rare neurological condition at the age of 2.
She sends a thank you to everyone who stopped by to support the cause by purchasing a combo meal or Kingburger merchandise.
