Local police say an investigation is underway following the discovery of two bodies in Whitewater Region.
Officers with the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP were called to a property within the township just after 2:30 in the afternoon on Sunday, February 16th, where the owner of the lot found two people dead.
The cause of death has yet to be confirmed, but police believe that there is no threat to public safety.
Meanwhile, the local crime unit will be working with the OPP’s Forensics Identification Services, the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service, and the Office of the Chief Coroner to uncover more details as the investigation continues in its early stages.
