With many families making the most of Family Day Weekend, some local businesses and services will be taking the day off this Monday.
Most grocery stores and other shopping options will close for Family Day Monday, including Walmart, Chris and Tanya’s No Frills, Renfrew Metro, and Giant Tiger. Both the Beer Store and LCBO will also close on Family Day.
Those who need to check on prescriptions should take note, as Aikenhead’s Pharmacy will also be closed while Rexall will open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
Most municipal services and buildings, as well as chartered banks, will remain closed on Monday. Local post offices will be open and mail delivery will resume on Monday as usual. Select locations at the myFM Centre will remain open to the public as part of the second half of the Frewfest Winter Carnival.
