
Vincent Caron, is the Vice President of Ontario Government Relations for C.M.E (Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters). Caron says that while Canadian goods producers hold their breath in anticipation of the tariffs promised by US President Trump, he adds that “hope is not a strategy” while they wait to see if this is merely typical Trump bluster or the real deal. He challenges our current politicians who are in a leadership race to step up and address the situation:
Among the most important steps to be taken now, according to Caron is for the provinces to start working more closely together with one another as a means of strengthening resolve when it comes to battling the current U.S threats.
