Local voters will have a chance to hear from provincial election candidates at a meeting in Cobden next week.
The Renfrew County Federation of Agriculture (RCFA), in partnership with the Arnprior Regional Federation of Agriculture, will host an All-Candidates Meeting for the Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke riding on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cobden Agricultural Hall.
RCFA president Keanan Stone will moderate the meeting, which will see candidates answer questions in a variety of formats, including long-form responses, rapid-fire rounds and yes or no answers.
Organizers say the format should ensure an engaging and informative discussion.
The public is encouraged to attend and take this opportunity to learn how candidates plan to address key issues impacting our community.
Light refreshments will be provided.
The provincial election is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27.
