It’s an exciting week for the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (RCCDSB) and St. Thomas the Apostle students as they will return to in-person classes Wednesday in their new building attached to St. Joseph’s High School.
For these first two days after the break, Jan. 6 and 7, classes are remote to allow staff members to familiarize themselves with the new school building and finalize classroom setup.
“We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to welcoming students to their new school building,” reads a notice.
The school board made the announcement in 2022. The new space is expected to provide more student spaces in a new, quality learning environment for the growing student population in Renfrew and area, as well as affordable childcare spaces for local parents.
