It was an opportunity to recognize a dedicated area volunteer for his work in the community supporting Renfrew Rotary Club projects.
Renfrew Rotary Club recently hosted a winter social at Boston Pizza at which Bob Hall, a Friend of Rotary, was presented with the Paul Harris Fellow award.
President Christine Jarrett explained the Paul Harris recognition is the most prestigious award given to non-Rotarians and said Hall has consistently given his time and energy to club projects.
Hall has been working with Rotary for some time, including on the drive-thru bacon on a bun initiative during the pandemic and as a regular deliverer of Meals on Wheels.
Jarrett said the club appreciates all of his contributions, along with the efforts of all the Friends of Rotary who work on various initiatives.
Looking ahead to the new year, the club is always looking for new projects and has several ideas in the works, including some projects that can’t yet be revealed.
Jarrett wished club members, friends and the entire community Happy Holidays and all the best in 2025.
