Ontario Provincial Police in Renfrew are seeking three suspects who robbed T Cannabis Saturday, making off with about $10,000 in cannabis products and $2,000 in cash.
OPP spokesperson Brianna Babin tells us the incident occurred around 10:10 p.m. Nov. 23. Police were notified with a hold-up alarm from the business.
The suspects, who were wearing black and are believed to be male, entered the front of the store using the buzzer.
The three suspects fled the scene through the back of the store.
Babin says the emergency response team did a canine track to try to recover evidence and officers canvassed the area, checking for any video from local businesses and residences. The forensics team was on scene looking for fingerprints and reviewing video, she said.
Nearby police services were also notified, she said.
Police are continuing their investigation, however, because the suspects are outstanding, Babin did remind the public to be vigilant and lock doors, not let anyone unknown into their homes and exercise caution.
Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to contact police.
