Sandy Gombik, known for her work supporting local charities with the “On the Clothesline Thrift Store,” died peacefully with family at her side on Friday, November 22nd, following a brief battle with cancer.

She was the loving partner of Todd Kolestik for nearly 15 years, and is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Fraser, Kimmy, Bryce, Jackie(Eric) and her late nephew Steve.
After 30 years in the dog grooming business, Sandy spent the last six years using proceeds from her store to support local charities and organizations within the community, including Hospice Renfrew, where she received care in her final days.

At Sandy’s request, there will not be a visitation or funeral. In an interview with myFM News last week, she urged residents to continue supporting Hospice Renfrew, calling it a true gem in our community.
