Some of the brightest talent on the Renfrew Wolves will be recognized next week.
Defenseman Joshua Lalande, goaltender Luke Suys, and coach Jason Gould have been named to the upcoming Battle of Ontario Young Guns game when the CCHL hosts the OJHL in Smiths Falls next week.
Lalonde says his selection to Team Robinson was a pleasant surprise.
Wolves Captain Josh Penney was also picked to play during the two-day event, joining the Robinson Division All-Star team.
Lalande says the selections reflect a lot of growth in a short period of time for the Wolves’ emerging talents.
He’s not surprised by the acknowledgement the team is receiving, either. In fact, it has been just a matter of time as the Wolves continue to mesh as a unit.
