TODAY: The Renfrew County Health Coalition will continue its Trojan Horse tour of the Ottawa Valley this Tuesday, November 5th, “to protest the Ford government’s privatization of our public hospital services.” The community is encourage to meet to coalition for more information while they stop outside Arnprior Regional Health from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The horse will also make stops in Almonte and Carleton Place throughout the day.
TODAY: Beth Donovan Hospice and Hospice Renfrew host Rural Hospice Day, November 5th at the myFM Centre. This year’s theme is Bridging the Gap, which will explore and address care gaps and focus on building resilience within our communities. Tickets $65 includes breakfast, lunch a full day of activities: networking, panel discussions, breakout sessions and Keynote Speaker, Dr. Michael Ungar, PH.D.
TOMORROW: Every Wednesday is Switch Wednesday at the Renfrew Public Library! Come hang after school and compete against your friends – old and new – in the chosen Nintendo Switch game of the week starting at 3:00 p.m.! Game to be announced ahead of the event.
TOMORROW: Trinity-St. Andrews Church in Renfrew invites you to their TSA Mat Group, this Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00. Join a group of volunteers from around the area, who enjoy the fellowship of the church’s weekly meetings, while helping the environment by repurposing milk bags into useable sleeping mats for third world countries.
