It’s a new Renfrew business that has been welcomed by the public and the business community.
The Swiss Alps restaurant, nestled in the former myFM station building on Raglan Street South, recently celebrated its grand opening and owner Iris Borghi and her team couldn’t be more pleased.
The menu of Swiss and German classics paired with regional takes on local restaurant fare has garnered rave reviews and while it’s been a lengthy process to start from scratch to transform the building into a restaurant, the effort has been most certainly worth it.
Borghi is grateful to all those who have supported The Swiss Alps journey – from family and friends, to employees and customers, to local contractors who were never far away during the extended construction period.
Hiring capable, mature, attentive staff members who understand and will focus on her vision has been important, said Borghi.
Borghi is eager to become a fixture in the local business community – she signed up as a gold member of the Renfrew and Area Chamber of Commerce without hesitation.
The restaurant is open is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 to 2:30 p.m. for lunch and for dinner, by reservation, from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
